What are the BC PNP Requirements for International Students in Canada?
If you are a student in British Columbia or wish to immigrate to the province in 2023, you must have heard about British Columbia (BC) PNP. It is a provincial pathway that offers programs for students who have studied at any Canadian university.

British Columbia PNP Programs for International Students
British Columbia PNP stream encompasses two main programs for International students. However, with a special Express Entry application system, the provincial immigration stream has four programs;
International Graduate Category
This category is for students that have a certificate or degree from a recognized Canadian School or College. International students applying through this stream will need a job offer lying under the NOC level A or B.
EEBC International Graduate Category
International students under this category can apply if they have a recognition or degree from a well-recognized Canadian School or College. Graduates will require a job that falls under NOC A or B. Moreover, they must also be eligible for one of these Express Entry Programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program; Federal Skilled Trades Program; Canadian Experience Class
International Post-Graduate Category
This category is for international students that acquired a Master’s degree or Doctorate in specific fields from a recognized British Columbia College or University. Unlike other streams, International students applying through stream do not require a job offer to be eligible.
The following specific fields in the category are;
- Agriculture, agriculture operations, and similarly related sciences
- Natural resources conservation
- Physical sciences
- Engineering technology and engineering-related fields
- Mathematics and statistics
- Engineering
- Health professions or related programs
- Biological and biomedical sciences
- Computer and information sciences and support services
EEBC International Post Graduate Category
This category is also for international students having a Master’s degree or Doctorate in specific fields of study from a recognized British Columbia College or University. Also, these graduates do not need a job offer to apply. However, they must be eligible for at least one of the three Express Entry Programs.

Other Requirements for All International Student BC PNP Categories:
Besides knowing the program’s general requirements, the candidate must also know the common requirements to apply as an international student;
- Must show his intent to reside in British Columbia
- Capable to benefit the province’s economy
- Must possess good language skills
- Hold legitimate immigration status in Canada
