Can I be chosen to apply for Canadian PR as a federal skilled worker if I am 47 years old or over?

I am Ralph Brown, 47 year old wants to immigrate to Canada. I have doubts about whether my age is a barrier for Canadian immigration. Read articles about it but they are less informative and creates more confusion in my mind.
