There are a plethora of ways through which parents can apply for Canada PR at the age of 45. The ideal pathway is the Express Entry skilled immigration, however, parents will get zero points on the age factor. Thus, this means that they need to have exceptionally good scores in IELTS, a Master’s degree, and significant work experience. And with the increasing competition, it may still be difficult for them to get through the CRS cut-off score. Another pathway that you can choose is Provincial Nomination (PNP). One that I can suggest here is the Saskatchewan PNP known as SINP where parents might get nominated. Here, they will have to have a Master’s Degree, IELTS CLB of a minimum of 8 and 10 years of work experience in an in-demand occupation in the province.

Further, they will have to learn the French language in order to get additional points which will make up for the lost points. After this, there are comparatively higher chances for them to get invited and with a nomination and get additional 600 points for Express Entry. Further, if you’re financially strong, then you can apply for the Canada Investor Visa. If your parents can manage to invest they can easily migrate to Canada without having to make efforts to learn French and higher IELTS scores.
